The catalog Disco. I'm Coming Out extends the exhibition at the Philharmonie de Paris on the last utopia of the 20th century, as festive as militant. A multi-faceted musical genre, rooted in African-American cultures, disco has become a global movement and has never completely departed from the social and activist context that saw it born.

The book celebrates the fulgurance and the collective and intimate upheavals of the disco era. Rich in period documents, works by artists and texts by specialists, it also testifies to the imprint it has left on technology and the arts, fashion or design.
