The WC 54 is a light truck developed during the Second World War. It was manufactured between 1942 and 1945 and was widely used by the US Army as a military ambulance. During the Korean War, these vehicles remained in service despite the arrival of a successor in the form of the WC 64. In some European countries, the WC 54 was still in service in the 1960s.
With a set of 293 COBI bricks, you can build a classic American military ambulance WC 54 in 1:35 scale. This is undoubtedly one of the most successful kits launched by COBI in 2021. All graphic details are made of high-quality bricks and prints that won't wear out even with intensive use. The vehicle's design uniquely reflects the original forms of its historic prototype. The model continues the series of vintage vehicles created with specially designed elements. The set includes multi-piece mudguards, a block simulating a radiator, a windscreen with printed wipers and many other useful elements. The car is easy to build and modify. More experienced builders can easily use the available elements to create other versions of cars or trucks. The set includes a rescuer figure with new helmet printing. A redesigned stretcher, which now fits even better into the sets.
