Jacques Barraband (1767-1809)

Jacques Barraband is a French painter and illustrator specialized in zoology and botany. He is particularly known for his reproductions of tropical birds. His reputation was such that Napoleon I commissioned him to decorate the banquet hall of Saint Cloud.
