For fifty years, video game music has undergone a dazzling evolution. Under the supervision of curators Jean Zeid and Fanny Rebillard, the exceptional exhibition dedicated to him at the Philharmonie de Paris in 2026 reveals all the richness and behind the scenes.

This illustrated catalogue is an extension and brings together the greatest French specialists in the subject : Aurélien Simon, Fanny Rebillard, Jérémie Kermarrec, Pierre-Alexandre Rouillon, 440 Hz and Valentin Chauvin. They reveal the different facets of video game music through texts as accurate as they are accessible.

The book, which is aimed at newcomers and enthusiasts, is also adorned with interviews with major figures in video game music : composers Jesper Kyd (Assassin's Creed), Austin Wintory (Journey), Olivier Derivière (A Plague Tale), Christophe Héral (Rayman Origins), Jessica Curry (Dear Esther), The Toxic Avenger (Cairn), the Audio Director Michel Trémouiller (Dishonored), the music designer Raphaël Joffres (Clair Obscur : Expedition 33) and the co-founder of Wayô Records, Romain Dasnoy.
