February 1890. Vincent van Gogh is interned in Saint-Rémy de-Provence. When he learns that a famous art critic has praised his work, he plans to leave the asylum, to try to find "the high yellow note" of his Sunflowers.
A few months later, on May 20, we found him in Auvers sur-Oise, welcomed by Doctor Gachet. Everything seems to smile on him, he paints tirelessly. But very quickly, a slow descent into hell begins, and after a final fight against madness, Vincent exchanges his life for his immortality.
