"The unicorn" cushion cover is a medieval inspiration in the style of the "Lady of the Unicorn" tapestries exhibited at the Cluny Museum. Dare to bring history into your living room!
This cushion cover made by Jules Pansu is woven and made in our workshops located in the north of France, land of Flanders, cradle of tapestry since the Middle Ages.
The jacquard technique used here allows us to control each thread independently in order to create numerous effects.
On this cushion cover we find various elements typical of this period: The unicorn, heraldic emblem, holding a stallion, the background thousand flowers composed of many small flowers and sometimes small animals like the hare.
