This cushion cover made by Jules Pansu is woven and made in our workshops located in the north of France, land of Flanders, cradle of tapestry since the Middle Ages. The jacquard technique used here allows us to control each thread independently in order to create numerous effects. This know-how in tapestry weaving on Jacquard loom is typical of Flanders, cradle of tapestry since the Middle Ages.
The series of tapestries Lady of the Unicorn is composed of 6 models representing the five senses and the sixth could designate the free will. In a bright red, the design is composed of a scene and a background "millefleurs" characterized by an abundant flora and populated by a bestiary.
