The frame consists of a wooden cast with a simple structure, the idea being to favor the work rather than the frame. The methacrylate we use has been specially selected for its durability, transparency and strength, which guarantee a quality close to that of glass without risk of breakage during transport.

  • Printed artwork to the dimensions you choosed and will also include a white border.

The work and its artist

Jean Clouet (1480-1541)

Jean Clouet (c. 1480-1541) was a French painter and draughtsman of Dutch origin, famous for his portraits at the court of kings Français I and Louis XII. His works, often attributed to the Fontainebleau school, combine elegance and meticulousness. Although few of his paintings have survived, his many drawings, including portraits of François I, bear witness to his talent. He was also the father of painter François Clouet, who carried on his artistic legacy.
