The Centre Pompidou reviews the work of Bernard Frize, an important French painter on the international artistic scene right from his early work in 1977. Known for his conceptual abstract paintings, Frize integrated figurative elements into his practice in the 1980s and also developed an interest in photography.

This album enables young readers to discover the magnificent works of art in the collections of the Georges Pompidou Centre in Paris.

As much a book for bedtime reading as a guidebook, this work, which contains short and sometimes funny texts, will accompany both children and adults in their discovery of this fantastic cultural centre.

As with the other books in this collection, the work of art is presented on a full page, on the right, while the left-hand page shows a detail, from which the story takes inspiration.
