Jacques Boullaire is an engraver and illustrator. He exhibited in Paris at the Salon des Indépendants from 1927 to 1945. He has been recognized above all as illustrator of many literary works: Musset, Bernardin de Saint-Pierre, Balzac, Flaubert and Gautier.
