FRENCH VERSION

Presentation of the works of Paul Troubetzkoy, some of which are from the collection kept at the museo del Paesaggio in Verbania. Russian prince by birth, he studied in Italy before settling in Paris. A fervent defender of the animal cause, his sculptures testify to his sensitivity and his avant-garde side.

This unprecedented work retraces the journey of this extraordinary sculptor and raises the question of Impressionist sculpture, that is to say "of sculpture where life prevails the exact form, where the overview takes precedence over the detail, where the harmonic composition is in the intensity of the impression".
