Moi, Auguste, Empereur de Rome

2014 marks the two thousandth anniversary of the death of the first Emperor of Rome, Augustus, who died in Nola on 19 August 14. He is famous for having unified the Roman world, in other wordsthe entire Mediterranean Region. The aim of this exhibition is to bring this man, with his aspirations, his contradictions, his qualities and his illusions, as well ashis era, back to life.
