Marianne Brigitte Bardot
The 1st personality to embody Marianne
At the end of the 1960s, the sculptor Aslan made the audacious choice to give Marianne the features of Brigitte Bardot. The French were very enthusiastic about her and she became the first personality to embody Marianne.
A prerogative of official buildings like the three words Liberté Egalité Fraternité and the three colours of the blue, white and red flag, the bust of Marianne has been in keeping with the rhythm of history and fashion since 1789!
The creation of this exceptional series at the art workshop

" I paint and sculpt the woman, the most beautiful subject given to artists, because it is inexhaustible and eternal. To situate myself, I would define myself as a hyper-figurative intimate painter and sculptor. "
