To mark the occasion, the Louvre, TF1 Licensing and Rmn-Grand Palais are offering a new line of clothing and accessories in the colors of the famous polymorphous, cheerful and colorful characters: sweatshirts, t-shirts, bobs, pens, key rings, etc. signed "BARBALOUVRE".

After 50 years, the Barbapapa adventure continues!

The Barbapapa story began in 1970. The brainchild of French architect Annette Tison and American science teacher Talus Taylor, the family of colorful characters was an instant hit with children and adults alike, thanks to their first book. A few years later, an animated series was created, which proved a great success on TF1. Exported to 40 countries in Europe, America and Asia, they have won unanimous acclaim from audiences, enchanted by the characters' multiple transformations and the emblematic music. The magical alchemy of Barbapapa continued in 1977 and 1999 with new adventures. At last, 3 generations of fans are reunited with the iconic family in an eagerly awaited all-new series, successfully broadcast on TF1 since November 2019.
