This is an unedited history, featuring the different theatres of the life of Prince Eugène de Beauharnais (1781-1824), between Paris, Milan and Munich, at a time when the European balance of power was upset by the rise of Napoleon, and then by his fall. A princely history, illustrated by the works of famous artists such as Gros, Gérard, Isabey, Appiani, Comolli and Stieler, as well as by objects showing the sumptuous décor and furnishings of the prince's living environment, testifying to his personal tastes in the arts and sciences.
