The Fondation Louis Vuitton is dedicating a major exhibition to Pop Art, bringing together around Tom Wesselmann (1931-2004) some thirty artists with a "Pop" sensibility. This special issue traces the career of Wesselmann, one of the initiators of this movement born in the 1960s from a marriage between classical artistic vocabulary and popular culture. His paintings interact with a selection of works from 1917 to the present day, bringing together modern international artists including Marcel Duchamp, Jasper Johns, Andy Warhol... and contemporaries such as Ai Weiwei and Yayoi Kusama.

Exhibition "Pop Forever, Tom Wesselmann &..." presented at the Fondation Louis Vuitton from Octobrer 17th 2024 to February 24th 2025.
