Born Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris, Le Corbusier is a French architect, painter and decorator of Swiss origin. Adept of clean lines, the artist wanted to create a pure style because for him "Where order is born, well-being is born". It is from this observation that Purism was born, in the lineage of cubism, this movement advocates simple forms, organization and rigor.
