The exhibition Marilyn Monroe, 100 years old! take a step aside from the existing myths around the star. She won't try to unravel the truth but will look at what they say about our relationship to women, icons, Hollywood and sexuality. The catalogue will contextualize the legends circulating on Marilyn Monroe because, as the ultimate sex bomb, it is the marker par excellence of morality in the mid-20th century such as the birth of Playboy magazine in the United States, the dissemination of Freudian ideas, the publication of Kinsey reports and the relaxation of censorship in the face of television competition.
