FRENCH VERSION
In the autumn of 1924, editions of Sagittaire at Simon Kra appeared the first Manifesto of Surrealism written by André Breton who took the lead of the movement.
After having traced from dada and the First World War the origins of surrealism, the book analyzes the evolution of its aspects, artistic, theoretical, political and social by distinguishing three major periods : 20 years, the turn of the 30's and the post-World War II.
Particular emphasis is placed on the recent renewal of historiographical approaches ; feminism, globalization, surrealist art market (surrealists and money), eco-surrealism. Finally, the reactivation of surrealism through contemporary art and in particular the generative creation of artificial intelligence and virtual reality and its worlds offers an expanded and international approach to one of the most striking literary and aesthetic movements of the twentieth century.
