The year 2026 is the centenary of the death of the painter Claude Monet (1840-1926). It was on this occasion that the department of Eure decided to make itself better known as the cradle of Impressionism.
An exhibition of the most beautiful works of the Impressionists is scheduled in September on the banks of the Seine, where all the Impressionists who have stayed in the Eure will present their works, not to mention of course to visit Claude Monet and all his friends in Giverny, world capital of Impressionism.
The opportunity also, for Beaux Arts Éditions, to discover the most beautiful paintings held by the museums of the department.
