The exhibition "So Cute! The Art of Happiness" at the Louvre-Lens explores the multiple faces and the emotional power of the adorable aesthetic, from ancient times to the present day, deciphering our universal need for tenderness and comfort in the face of the crash of the world. In the summary of this special series : an interview with the curators of the exhibition and a portfolio bringing together more than 80 works that decline the cute in all its nuances : babies, angels and putti of classical painting, tendering dogs and cats, Japanese aesthetics of kawaii, stuffed animals and blankets with the prism of contemporary art, or the use, sometimes political, of the pink color or the unicorn.
