The National Museum of Asian Arts - Guimet gives carte blanche to the visual artist and designer from Shanghai,Jiang Qiong Er , to invest its spaces. From the building's façade, decorated with twelve mythical creatures, to its terrace, where a gigantic embroidered net is deployed, but also within the library or under the dome, this special issue presents the monumental installations of Jiang Qiong Er, who reinterprets symbols of traditional Chinese culture.
Interview, studies of the work, practical information... This special issue is a richly illustrated presentation of the exhibition "Jiang Qiong Er. Guardians of the Temple" at the Guimet Museum, in preparation for or as a complement to your visit!
