The exhibition "The Soul Trembles" by Japanese artist Chiharu Shiota, the largest ever devoted to the artist, spans more than 20 years of career. This exhibition, initiated by the Mori Art Museum, has been travelling to Asia and Australia since 2019.

The exhibition at the Grand Palais will be his first major monographic exhibition in a museum in France. The catalogue generously reproduces the works on display (monumental installations, videos, sculptures, drawings and archival documents), while presenting the artist's career and vision.
The catalogue also offers an expanded version that allows you to see the artist's works in situ, in the renovated Grand Palais.
