The first-person account of the little artist rubs shoulders with the reproductions of her future most famous paintings. Illustrations by Lisbeth Renardy, telling the daily life and dreams of the little girl, alternate with her works.
Born in 1862 in Stockholm, Hilma grew up in the countryside, rocked by Norse mythology, the accounts of her father as a naval commander and cartographer, and her mother's passion for botany. Very quickly, Hilma also tastes the joys of geometry and falls in love with colors...
